Application
1) This product combines the chemical properties of resorcinol and salicylic acid for the determination of iron, titanium and other elements by chemical reagents. It is mainly used as a dye and pharmaceutical intermediate for organic synthesis. 2,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid is a major raw material in the production of the acidic medium peach red 3BM, which consumes 157 kg per ton of dye (100%).
