Applications
It is used in foam type facial cleanser as a low-irritation, high-foaming surfactant. When formulated with MAP, it is made into a transparent facial cleanser (4 to 8%).
For shampoo (3 to 6%), shower gel (5 to 10%) has a better foam than propyl betaine and is less irritating
